Netcool integration doesn't retrieve Event List

I am running RapidInsight on a CentOS 4.5 server. It connects to an old version of Netcool (installed in 2003).
The SampleNetcoolConnector is reporting as successfully running in the UI. I followed the instructions you provided to create a default event list for Netcool. That's where things break down.
I can successfully get a list of fields returned, but no events are returned to the UI.
The log files contain the following:
2008-03-13 10:20:05,264 DEBUG : ReconnectableDatabaseDatasourceImpl : Trying to connect.
2008-03-13 10:20:05,581 INFO : ReconnectableDatabaseDatasourceImpl : Could not connect. Sleeping 60000 milliseconds.

There are no error messages, and no values returned to the front end. Any ideas what might cause this problem?

We have released major updates/enhancements to RapidInsight for Netcool since your posting. If you could install the new release and try connectivity one more time, I will do my best to help you. However, we may not go far if the issue is due to the old version of Netcool.
