Rapid OOS and Rapid Browser issues getting events feom SMARTS

So I have configured the app and have checked everything out and I still cannot get the events to parse in from SMARTS... Any known quick check that can be made? I am about to give up!
As I understand it, you're having issues with in both RapidBrowser and RapidOSS with Smarts plugin, correct?
Have you copied the Smarts libraries (skclient.jar and net.jar) into the lib directory?
in RapidOSS, have you defined notification connectors to work with SAM server? Have you clicked on "test connection" link on the admin UI.
If you can describe what you've done so far, we can figure out where the problem may be and walk you through the rest of it.
